中新一脉，艺汇南洋。新加坡作为南洋重要的海外华人文化枢纽，更是中华艺术对外传播的重要窗口。先辈跨海南渡，携华夏文脉扎根于此，在多元的土地之上延续东方笔墨风骨，构筑起中新两地文化相通相连的精神纽带。
山海虽隔，艺术无界。本次新加坡人文艺术线上交流展，以云端作展厅，荟萃海内外优秀艺术家原创佳作。以艺为媒，架起跨地域的人文桥梁，让艺术冲破山海距离，实现两地审美互观、文脉共振。
以艺传情，以文聚力。本次线上交流展，依托全媒体传播赓续中华文脉，叙写同根同源的文化情谊，于笔墨品鉴间彰显东方气韵，共谱文化交融的时代新篇。
魏新，湖北荆州人，现定居珠海。国家一级美术师、中国美术家协会会员、旅美艺术家，兼任大公艺术学院副院长、美中经贸文化促进会副会长、荆州画院副院长、中国多媒材艺术协会会长，同时担任多家文化企业艺术总监、中国国际图书出版社副社长。
Wei Xin, a native of Jingzhou, Hubei Province, now resides in Zhuhai. He is a National First-Class Artist, member of the China Artists Association and overseas Chinese artist based in the United States. He serves as Vice Dean of Dagong Art Academy, Vice President of the US-China Economic, Trade and Culture Promotion Association, Vice President of Jingzhou Painting Academy, and President of China Mixed-media Art Association. He is also the art director of several cultural enterprises and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China International Book Press.
1986年，魏新毕业于湖北工艺美术学校，师从现代泼彩画大师李青萍，同年筹办“中国的凡高——李青萍画展”。此后先后深造于华南师范大学、清华大学美术学院，以访问学者身份在中央美术学院研修，并远赴意大利研习坦培拉绘画技艺，持续探索中西艺术融合之路。
In 1986, Wei Xin graduated from Hubei Arts and Crafts School and studied under Li Qingping, master of modern splash-color painting. In the same year, he organized the exhibition Li Qingping: China’s Van Gogh. He pursued further studies at South China Normal University and the Academy of Art & Design, Tsinghua University. As a visiting scholar, he conducted research at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and travelled to Italy to learn tempera painting, constantly exploring the integration of Chinese and Western art.
他深耕油画、版画、陶瓷、漆画、装置艺术等多领域创作。1996年由他设计的中国航展会徽定为永久性标识，连续十三届沿用。作品多次入选全国美展等国内外重要展览，斩获多项大奖。2014年，油画《泉》亮相保利拍卖；瓷版画获纽约亚洲艺术展国际抽象艺术银奖；多件作品被澳门艺术博物馆等海内外机构收藏。同年，纽约市立大学美术馆为其举办大型个展《忽视的寂寞》，展出陶瓷与绘画作品。
His creative practice covers oil painting, printmaking, ceramics, lacquer painting and installation art. The emblem he designed for the China Aviation Expo in 1996 was adopted as a permanent logo and used for thirteen consecutive sessions. His works have been selected for numerous key exhibitions including the National Art Exhibition and won many awards at home and abroad. In 2014, his oil painting Spring was presented at Poly Auction. His ceramic panel painting won the Silver Award for International Abstract Art at the New York Asian Art Show. Many of his works are collected by institutions including the Macao Museum of Art. In the same year, the Art Gallery of the City University of New York held his solo exhibition Overlooked Solitude, featuring his ceramics and paintings.
广东卫视为其拍摄的艺术纪录片在十二个国家和地区播出。2022年，他受邀登上央视《笔尖上的中国》。多年来，他陆续创办美术馆、陶艺工作室与艺术研究中心；2026年，魏新艺术馆于荆州落成，助力本土文化建设。他主编《李青萍画集》等多部专业画册，在艺术创作、学术研究与文化传播领域成果斐然。
An art documentary about him produced by Guangdong TV has been broadcast in twelve countries and regions. In 2022, he was invited to participate in the CCTV program China Under the Brush. Over the years, he has founded art museums, ceramic studios and art research centers. In 2026, the Wei Xin Art Museum was completed in Jingzhou to boost local cultural development. He is the chief editor of art books such as The Album of Li Qingping. He has achieved fruitful results in artistic creation, academic research and cultural communication.
